Nautical feasibility studies were carried out for the installation of the first commercial FSRU in the world, in the port of Bahía Blanca (Argentina). Subsequently, supplementary studies were carried out for progressive adaptation of the infrastructure to larger capacity vessels, from 138,000 m3 to 151,000 m3, raising the supply vessels up to Q-Flex class (216,000 m3). The operational and nautical safety procedures were defined by carrying out risk analyses (HAZID-HAZOP).
